During the Summer Peacebuilding Institute at EMU, you have the opportunity to extend hospitality to persons from many different cultures. These participants come to our community from Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Islands of the Pacific. 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. hosted by the Mill Creek Church of the Brethren. Visit the Widow Pence Farm, the Port Republic Museum and several other historic houses and landmarks in the area. The Valley Brethren-Mennonite Heritage Center is pleased to present a new production of the Civil War play, Jordan’s Stormy Banks. The play tells the vivid story of one Shenandoah Valley family’s struggles during the Civil War and how they reconcile loyalty to family, to country, and to their Lord. Evening and matinee performances of the play will be held in the Main Stage Theater at EMU.
